The Origin Story
Chapter 1 — The Trip
In December 2023, Candace took her 81-year-old grandfather on a month-long Mediterranean birthday trip. He has neuropathy — a condition that had slowly taken away his independence. Traveling with him, she spoke with over 100 people from every walk of life. What connected them all was two things: pain and time. Everyone was hurting. Nobody had enough time.
Chapter 2 — The Vision
Returning to San Francisco unsure of what to do next, Candace attended an Ayahuasca ceremony. During the ceremony, she saw a vision: electricity traveling through the muscles of the human body — exploring, activating, healing. She didn't know what it meant. But she knew she had to find it.
Chapter 3 — The Search
She discovered electricity has been used to heal the body since 200 BC. She found EMS — used on Olympic athletes and approved by the FDA. She flew to Germany to get certified through GluckerKolleg, then spent six months testing every FDA-approved EMS product in the US and found them all lacking. In November 2024 she embarked on a world tour across seven countries to find something better.
Chapter 4 — Electric Aya
She found it. FUFF EMA — validated at a university hospital in Turkey, operating at 0-2,400 Hz, activating both superficial and deep muscle fibers across 10 full-body zones without triggering the nervous system. Named for the ceremony that showed her the way. Built to give people their time back and take away their pain.
Two years later
Candace has trained over 300 people, been featured in a documentary, travelled the world training professional athletes and artists, worked with refugees and asylum seekers and postpartum clients, and created the first Ethical GLP-1 program in the world.
